Valextra's IFC store gets a new window display inspired by the brand's collaboration with designer M

Valextra, the Milanese manufacturer of desirable leather goods, has teamed up with designer Martino Gamper - who famously demolished classic furniture by Gio Ponti and reconfigured the raw material into new pieces - to create a series of new products and a store installation.
For the new line of bags and pouches, Gamper chose classic Valextra silhouettes and reworked them with a patchwork sensibility. Some of the designs remain rather simple - such as the Triennale in all white - while others are splashed with a jolting hot pink, canary yellow or peacock blue.
This collaboration comprises the window set-up at Valextra's Hong Kong store at IFC Mall. The products are displayed using magnets, like they are hanging in the air.
