Andra Day Looks Like a Floral Dream in This Sculptural Couture Top

The flowers were in bloom at the Los Angeles premiere of The Color Purple, as evidenced by Andra Day’s violet explosion of an outfit.

The Grammy-winning singer made waves at the premiere in an incredible, all-purple set pulled from Rahul Mishra’s Fall/Winter 2023 couture collection. The outfit consisted of a huge, flower-shaped top, with the larger-than-life petals featuring intricate embroidered details and a sparkling design. The petals were attached to a form-fitting sheer corset in a matching purple. For bottoms, Day wore skintight leggings entirely covered in shining violet sequins, which she then topped off with sheer purple socks and strappy silver heels with a sleek pointed toe.

As for her glam, Day kept with the monochromatic theme, opting for a light purple eye shadow paired with a glossy nude lip.

Day’s red-carpet looks could easily be described as experimental and eclectic, with the singer taking on bold interpretations of classic silhouettes and styles.
